Late October, Tokyo

Autumn's here and the temperature's falling as fast as the leaves. Only twenty-one degrees today, and the sun was down by five o'clock. If it gets much worse I might even have to put a jacket on. That or move my scarf to the front of the wardrobe.

Back home it's raining. The daytime high is six above freezing.

It's been lovely and sunny in Shields today, but bitterly cold. Fortunately Aldi is selling Sapporo Dry for 3.69 for 4 bottles!

Just to make you feel even better, matches have been called off today due to.... snow... Proper white stuff has hit the midlands. Pretty to look at, and I think that your scarf might just be needed over here.

Buy as many as you can! And damn the BBC when they can't even get the current weather conditions right.

Sapporo's just brought out a soy bean 'beer' over here. It's cheap but has a slightly strange taste. Cheap wins.

and surely you were only referring to alcoholic beverages..

Hahaha. For now, yes.

Soy bean beer?
that just sounds wrong.
Then again - I drink cider.
