It's Fifteen Years Today

Since Bill Hicks died. We've rarely needed him more than we do right now. The Guardian has a fifteen-question quiz here (I only got eight, but then I didn't have the benefit of reading Wikipedia first.)

While we wait for a rumoured film of his life (starring Russell Crowe?) here's a reminder of how good he was.

Nearly as amusing as Derek Llambias

And produced by Ron Howard too. Will it be as good as Lenny though?

Llambias? That hurts.

..Llambias?
I've been working on the sarcasm thing for nigh ... years now and apparently I have another .. to go until I get that one.

“We understand it better as a club and as a business. We are catching on quickly".

Made me laugh anyway.

Mind, Myeral's stuck with Garry Cook, a man who answered a question about Thaksin Shinawatra's human rights record with:

"Is he a nice guy? Yes. Is he a great guy to play golf with? Yes. Does he have plenty of money to run a football club? Yes. I really care only about those three things. Whether he is guilty of something over in Thailand, I can't worry …"

Credit where it's due, even Llambias isn't that bad.

I just don't know. After reading through the latest attempt to... endear themselves to the fans????? keep them onboard??? justify his being???? I realized that I liked the Silence of the Llambias better.
Agree though that we should spare the odd thought for those even worse off :)
