West Ham 3 Newcastle 1

What are the chances of Ashley getting £480 million for a club in the Championship? Because make no mistake about it, if he hasn't sold up by the January transfer window then that's where we're headed.

...just what I was thinking while slinking out of Upton Park this afternoon..
not to speak of missing men (great job by the muppets assigned by Ashley to ru(i)n our club - where was wor cover?!?!) - the only people who would have been able to give the remaining few a good kick up their arses have left/got sacked and the ones lined up as possible replacement - don't get me started... I shudder at the thought where OhDreary might take us..

I can't see any manager wanting to come while Ashley and Llambias are busy hawking the club around the Middle East. They'd only get sacked as soon as the next lot takes over.
The way things are looking our only hope is for a sale to go through before January, and for a new manager to have pots of cash to spend then.
The destabilising influence on the team isn't the fans and their protests - it's Ashley and his asking price.

but even he should be aware of the fact that a Championship club loses him money.. and that's where we're headed at the moment..
for an allegedly shrewd businessman he's rather thick..
I wouldn't mind his losing money if only it did'nt mean losing game after game in the meantime - that hurts...
